In 2019 St. Paul’s UCC was involved in organizing in-person learning opportunities to study Race, Religion and American History. We arranged a personal appearance by James Loewen in Delano to discuss his famous book “Lies My Teacher Told Me – Everything Your American History Textbook Got Wrong”. Mr. Loewen passed away August 19, 2021. We feel so fortunate for having had the chance to meet him and learn from him through his presentations in our community.
