By way of background, we have studied the cultures, history, and the journeys of immigrants from other countries like Somalia, Mexico, Haiti, Vietnam, Ukraine, and India. We learn while we are sampling the foods from the country being studied in an informal dinner setting, usually hosted at the Rieder Homestead barn. Of course, we had to postpone some during COVID, but we are now hoping to return to a new culture every other month, which was our previous schedule. The next date will be announced soon, and we are hoping it will be in November studying Liberia.
