St. Paul’s Cultural Dinner fans will be celebrating another South American country, Venezuela, on Saturday, October 12th with set up at 4:30 and dinner served at 5:00. Our guest will be Maribel Cruz Longley from Monticello. Lani and Shawne met her at the Monticello Multicultural Diversity Event in April where she designed the booth for Venezuela and represented her homeland dressed in a traditional costume. She and her husband work as realtors for Edina Realty in Monticello.
A cookbook with recipes of favorite foods common in Venezuela is available online and in paper copy if someone needs it. Please select a recipe you would like to bring to the dinner to share. If you do not prepare a recipe, no worries, anyone can attend the dinner to sample the foods prepared by others. If you like, you can donate to the kitchen fund for general supplies needed for the dinner (napkins, plastic bags, dishwasher soap).
